Philip James opened in 1990. Highly trained in women and mens’ haircutting, coloring and styling, we are one of Chicago’s most experienced hair extension salons. Offering modern techniques for 30 years, continually seeking new ways to help those with thinning hair, as well as lengthening hair. We have styled hair for numerous fashion shows and our work has been featured in Chicago Fashion Magazine.

Our regular customers value us for our prompt and friendly attention. Our years of experience enable us to give you knowledgeable and personalized service. The salon’s atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed.

We have left our Diversey Parkway location. Our new location is at 3828 North Lincoln Avenue,  located in the North Center/ St. Ben’s neighborhood in Chicago’s north side, where we will continue providing excellent service to the Chicago land area.
