Do Hair Extensions Come In Ombre Colors?

How long do extensions last?
Maximum 4 months. No type of extension should stay in longer than 4 months. Can extensions remain attached longer than 4 months? Yes. However due to the natural shedding process of your hair, it is not ideal for it’s integrity. All extensions should be removed or re- done after 4 months. In addition, extensions should be removed at the salon. Claiming overextended wear times is counterproductive to the true benefits of extensions.

What Is The Cuticle?
Each strand of our hair is covered by a hard shingle-like layer of overlapping cells. It is formed from dead cells which form scales that gives the hair shaft strength and do the best job of providing protection for it. The cuticle is the outermost part of the hair shaft. The cells point downward from root to end, much like the scales on a fish, from head to tail.
